Licensed iGaming

Hosted card checkout for licensed gaming and betting.

Licensed operators get treated as one undifferentiated risk category by the mainstream aggregators and priced accordingly by everyone else. BrokkrPay runs the card leg on the operator’s own Stripe account instead.

The short answer

Licensed operators only. BrokkrPay onboards gaming and betting operators where they hold a licence for the market they serve, and does not support unlicensed gambling in any form. For operators we approve, BrokkrPay is software rather than an acquirer: a Pay with Stripe button in your own checkout sends the player straight to a Stripe Checkout page, BrokkrPay de-risks the transaction, and the charge settles on your own Stripe account for a flat 2.5% plus Stripe’s standard rate, with no BrokkrPay rolling reserve.

Licensing is the gate, and it is not negotiable

This is the vertical where the compliance boundary does most of the work, so it comes before the product pitch.

We onboard
Operators holding a valid licence for the markets they serve
Businesses that can evidence the licence, the entity, and its ownership
Operators whose geo-restriction and age-verification controls are already in place
We don’t
Unlicensed gambling, in any market
Operators serving markets they are not licensed for
Sanctioned countries, persons, or entities
Fraud, ponzi schemes, or counterfeit goods

BrokkrPay is not a gaming acquirer

It is worth being precise, because this category is full of companies that are.

BrokkrPay is a software provider — not a bank, acquirer, ISO, PSP, money transmitter, or custodian — and it does not issue merchant accounts or hold operator funds. The card leg runs on the operator’s own Stripe account: charges settle to that Stripe balance and pay out to the operator’s own bank on Stripe’s standard schedule. Your Stripe agreement and your own licence conditions continue to apply in full.

If what you need is a dedicated gaming MID with an acquirer in your own name, that is a different product from a different kind of company. The contrast is set out on BrokkrPay vs a high-risk merchant account.

The flow

  • You connect the Stripe account you already own, and BrokkrPay approves the operator — licence included.
  • You add a Pay with Stripe button to your own cashier or checkout, or call the HTTP API for a checkout redirect URL.
  • The player goes directly to a Stripe Checkout page and pays with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
  • BrokkrPay de-risks the transaction, and the charge runs on your own Stripe account.
  • A signed webhook confirms the deposit to your platform, and Stripe pays out to your bank on its standard schedule.

Cost and onboarding

A flat 2.5% of processed volume to BrokkrPay, plus Stripe’s standard rate. No BrokkrPay setup fee, no monthly minimum, and no BrokkrPay rolling reserve. Every operator is screened, has ownership verified, is checked against sanctions lists, and is underwritten individually; onboarding is same-day for approved operators, and approval is not guaranteed.
